I was given the honor of photographing Athena, a Great Horned Owl, who has been rehabilitated by the group Nature's Educators out of Denver, CO. Her eyes were mesmerizing and incredibly intense as she watched me photograph her. To me, her eyes glowed with a sense of ancient wisdom and calm that was almost palpable. What a joy and a blessing this was to me!
