What an incredible autumn display it was in the San Juan Valley last fall. I parked at spot on the side of the road and explored this beautiful mature aspen grove until I found the perfect place to photograph. The rustling aspen leaves glittered with hues of yellow and gold in the late morning sun and when I looked up to photograph the towering height of these enormous aspen, the sun burst through an opening in the trees and I got this sparkling shot of an amazing autumn day!
