The Great Conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter 2020

On December 21, 2020, Saturn and Jupiter came together in a beautiful conjunction over the moonlit Sangre de Cristo Mountains of Westcliffe, CO. This was the closest they had come together in almost 400 years. If you look carefully at Jupiter, the brightest object of the pair, you will see two of Jupiter's Galilean Moons, Io and Europa, on either side of the planet. What a beautiful sight to see in my lifetime!
