This October, I was traveling in the San Juan Mountains on Lizard Head Pass between Telluride and Rico, CO taking pictures of the autumn color. There had been an early morning snowstorm and all the pine trees were covered with snow. The contrast of the two seasons on one hillside captured my attention and filled me with peace and wonder at the incredible beauty that lay before me!
