I have always been fascinated with the power of lightning storms and since Colorado is second in the nation for producing lightning storms, I get plenty of opportunity to see them. This particular storm at night was way out on the eastern plains, so I felt somewhat safe to photograph it. I used a timed exposure and waited for the magic to happen. I am always in awe of the incredible power and beauty of God’s creations!
