Many times I have traveled to Ridgway, CO to photograph this scene at sunrise and in the past, all of the elements have never quite aligned so perfectly as they did this morning. The storm had brought fresh snow to the mountains and the clouds lit up with glorious sunrise colors as the vibrant valley below glowed with an expectant light! Simply perfect!
