Perseid Party
The Perseid meteor showers occur every year in the summer from July 17th to August 24th. At its peak, the shower produces up to 60 meteors per hour from the debris produced by the comet Swift-Tuttle. Being in Goblin Valley State Park during the Perseid Meteor Shower among a gathering of friendly goblins, I witnessed many bright meteors streaking across one of the darkest skies in the world. This party with my unusual guests was the inspiration for this ink drawing!
